Genealogical Research Services

Introduction

Kefalonian Roots provides a Research Assistance Service. The goal of this service is to aid descendents of Kefalonians, especially those who are unable to travel to and remain on the island of Kefalonia for the extended period of time required to search the Historical Archives and Municipal Vital Statistics Records.

The Research Assistance Services aids the researcher by providing:

Process and complete an ordered search
Search the Historical Archives and Municipal Vital Statistic Records
Obtain photocopies of the original documents in the records offices
Mail the officially stamped photocopies to the client by registered post.

3. An English Translation Service for Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates; and Sea Vessel information found in the official records.
