Method of Payment

The payment for Genealogical Services is made in Euros,  the currency of the European Union,  of which Greece is a member. 

The currency exchange rate which is accepted by Kefalonian Roots is the exchange rate of your currency on the date that your payment is made electronically at the bank. 

Sending Your Payment

After Kefalonian Roots receives your request - you will  be sent  a research assessment and a cost estimate  When your request is confirmed, an e-mail will be sent to you stating the specifics of of the search and the exact cost of the stated research request. After receiving verification that you want the search made, you will be sent the bank account number to which you will electronically send your payment in Euros from your bank.  The day that you send your payment, you will send an e-mail stating that your payment has been sent.

When Kefalonian Roots is notified that your payment has been deposited in the bank, a process requiring  approximately 2-4 days, you will receive an e-mail stating that your payment has been deposited and your request will begin being processed the next business day.  Please note that an order cannot be processed until Kefalonian Roots receives a notice from our bank stating that your payment has been deposited.
