Useful Genealogical Terms                                               in English and in Greek 

Introduction

Certain words are frequently found in Greek genealogical documents.  Therefore, Kefalonian Roots presents an English-Greek list of genealogical terms most likely to be encountered in reading material dealing with life events.  The Greek words listed, are those that are most commonly used, although some variations are also presented.
